The magic behind a water vapor fireplace comes down to two physics principles: ultrasonic atomization and light refraction.
Mist Generation: An ultrasonic atomizer (transducer) vibrates at an incredibly high frequency under the water tank. This breaks the liquid water into an ultra-fine mist without heating it.
The Thermal Rise Illusion: Quiet built-in fans push this micro-mist upward into the air.
Light Projection: High-intensity LED or RGB light strips illuminate the rising mist from below. The water droplets reflect and refract the light, creating a three-dimensional, dancing illusion of real fire and drifting smoke.
Optional (Hot Mist): Some premium units add a low-temperature heating module that warms the mist to around 50°C, helping it rise more vertically and mimicking the buoyant physics of actual fire.

Auto-Shutoff Verification: Drain the water tank completely while the unit is running. A high-quality circuit board must automatically shut off the atomizers immediately via the liquid level probe to prevent dry-burning damage.
